BNET Case Manager

Location: Highland City, FL

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Interviews, screens and orients clients and collects information necessary to complete the intake process, not including treatment recommendations.
  2. Under supervision, the employee records individual case information, updates case files, and provides case status information in order to provide a complete record of services.
  3. Confers with supervisor and other team members at staff meetings, providing and/or receiving information as necessary to assure proper case management.
  4. Collects and maintains data related to specific reporting requirements of grants, special client programs, and intra-agency referrals, as assigned by the supervisor.
  5. Provides specific community liaison services as assigned by supervisor.
  6. Provides the person served with Orientation to the agency.
  7. With supervisory approval, provides access to identified educational services for the person served.
  8. Completes urine specimen collection and documentation per agency collection procedures.
  9. Coordinates in the coordinating of securing identified psychiatric medical treatment, counseling and required medications.
  10. Identifies and assists in enrolling identified persons served with extracurricular activities identified by the clinician and approved by the coordinator that will benefit the person served.
  11. Performs other reasonable and related duties as assigned.

Minimum Training and Experience

Requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. and, preferably, one year of experience in a mental health or addictions treatment setting.

Requires knowledge of addictions and/or mental health treatment programs and their related supportive services. Requires general understanding of the causes, nature, and treatment of substance abuse and/or mental health programs. Requires a compassion for the person served to get to know the person served, what they need to achieve stability in their lives and the support that the parent/guardian needs during this process.

Salary range is $10.00 - $15.00 per hour 

Bilingual individual is a plus
